Sylvie,,
Ch. Sherwood Rx Fur Trader "Trapper"
(Ch. Denali's Christopher Robin x Ch. Sherwoods Black Diamond)
owned by Bill and Cindy Mixon
From Day one this puppy was the pick of the litter.  A striking outline
of neck, short back, topline and an alert tail set along with a most
pleasing head structure and expression.  Sired by their namesake
Christopher Robin, this dog went to my good friends Bill and Cindy.
The pride of having this boy in the show ring would be shared amongst
a Great group of Friends.  YES, FRIENDS is what this sport should be
All About.  Owner handled by Cindy,, with his finishing major under the
skillful hand of Marie and Bryon earned this championship as a group
effort.

(Ch. Denali's Christopher Robin x Ch Sherwoods Black Diamond)
owner:  Sylvie D'Amboise

Multiple Best in Sweepstakes
Multiple Best of Variety awards

Colin was a fast finish here in the United States and one dog I
found everyone was asking me, what happened to your buff
boy???
As a breeder it is so rewarding to see and hear how well
one of your produce is doing within the care of another kennel.  I
am so pleased that he is at stud with his owner  Sylvie D'Amboise
for the Canadian fanciers.   He has been outcrossed to some
beautiful lines, and the results have been very desirable with
breed type and temperment.
Ch. Rx Sorcerer's Stone  "Cubby"
(Ch. Denali's Christopher Robin x Ch. Sherwoods Black Diamond)

Cubby is my signature dog,, the one I chose to have on my
business cards and promo material.  He was the one with the
cutest expression, the cutest antics, and MY SHADOW while his
brother and sisters were at the shows.
Unfortunately Cubby is a breeder's lesson in what could go
wrong in finding a special home for one's dogs.  If I seem to ask
too many questions, if I seem too restrictive as to the kind of
home my dogs go to,,  its because of my experience with my
dear Cubby.

The "PERFECT" home came along for Cubby,,  a young couple,
Mom & Dad, two kids - boy and girl  ages 8 and 7,,,  they had
researched high and low as for the perfect breed for their family.
This was to be the kids' first dog,,, a relationship to last up to
15yrs.   Unknown to me this was DAD's first dog too,,, I suspect I
never heard the whole story of what truely came about behind
closed doors, but Cubby came back to me deathly afraid of MEN
of any size, shape or color,,, of course he still loved me,  and
around kids, and women,, he is a total LOVE bug,, but the sight
of a MAN sends him to places not to be seen.   I thank the family
for allowing Cubby to return to me rather than subject him to a
life of constant fear when the head of household arrived home,,,

Cubby is now in a wonderful home,,, with a patient  Woman with
a heart of gold.
